We ran the Hats of Hope campaign from November 2024 – March 2025 with a goal of reaching every Canadian member of Parliament with a handmade hat in memory of a child lost to abortion. Despite a postal strike and the unexpected prorogation of Parliament, our supporters helped make this campaign a huge success. We were blown away by your efforts and are thrilled to share that nearly 1,000 handmade hats made their way to Ottawa over these four months. Each of those hats went with a note or a tag asking the receiving MP to take action for pre-born children, and to donate the hat to a local pregnancy care center or hospital.

This campaign was a way to make the reality of abortion tangible, something our leaders could hold in their hands. Every single MP received at least one hat, and many received several in their offices. Like our flag displays, these hats hold visible space for the pre-born children our country is missing. May these hats touch the hearts of our leaders so that they cannot ignore the injustice of abortion any longer.

Thank you to everyone who took time to contribute their time and talents to make this campaign a success!
