This is great!
Remember last year when pro-life ads started appearing on Halifax transit shelters? It was a simple, but powerful ad sponsored by Signs4Life. The sign showed a photo of a newborn accompanied by the phrase, “Luc was born today but his life began nine months ago.”
The reaction was predictable with many calling for the ads to be removed. And now a pro-choice organization in Halifax is fundraising to have their own ads produced.
These new ads will be on Metro @hfxtransit busses Mon. Campaign raised $4000 to counter pro-life ads. Thoughts? pic.twitter.com/KbCO2yfMGU

This has obviously pleased Signs4Life. Stephanie Potter, one of the four people who works at Signs4Life responded to this news by saying:
“We’re really excited about it, we really believe strongly in freedom of speech and the right to publish signs in the media on this sort of topic.”
It’s about time the abortion debate was raised to new levels.
